THE EXPERTS IN YOUR CORNER.
DR. KEN CAMERON
Director & Specialist General Practitioner
MBBS DIP RACOG
Dr Ken Cameron brings more than 30 years of experience in general practice, from country South Australia through to metropolitan Adelaide, and then the last decade on the Gold Coast.
His areas of focus include veteran health, pain medicine, chronic disease management, mental health, and musculoskeletal medicine. With immediate family connections to the military, Dr Cameron has a genuine understanding of Defence life and the unique challenges faced by veterans.
His approach to care is both scientific and holistic, combining traditional general practice with lifestyle-based medicine and emerging regenerative treatments. He works collaboratively with patients to develop tailored treatment plans that support long-term health outcomes.
After working with hundreds of veterans over the course of his career, Dr Cameron established the Gold Coast veteran clinic as a way to give back to those who have served. Under his guidance, the clinic takes a holistic, coordinated approach, bringing together medical care, in-house advocacy, and nursing support for claims and medical programs, to assist veterans throughout the DVA claims process and provide ongoing care well beyond it.

Need help with a claim?
Unsure where to start?
We'll guide you.
Step 1:
Meet Your Advocate
Book a free 30-minute session with one of our trained, ex-military advocates. We’ll assess your eligibility and identify the right path forward. Usually we can do this over the phone.
Step 2:
See The Doctor
Your advocate will book you in for a medical consultation, often the same day if we can. Our doctors, many of whom are veterans themselves, will complete the necessary assessments or reports. No need to wait for a claim to be fulfilled – you can start treatment right away.
Step 3:
We Submit Your Claim
We prepare and submit your entire claim, fast. No paperwork for you.
We handle the follow-up and keep you informed every step of the way.
No matter what you need, a simple free conversation is all we need to make sure you receive the right treatment and support. Our process is very easy, however if you have any questions at all please get in touch with our team who will be happy to help.
